The number of sales in 2010 was down slightly in both the Regina and Saskatoon areas. However, Saskatoon saw a minor drop in sales volume of 2% while Regina saw a slight increase in sales volume of 1%. As reported by the Leader Post, the latest data released by Statistics Canada indicates that investment in non-residential construction is way up in Regina and generally up in Saskatchewan. Regina was up by 30.9 per cent and 6 per cent across Saskatchewan in the first quarter of this year compared to the first three months of last year.
