According to The Canadian Real Estate Association, this is double the national rate. In the province, 612 homes changed hands last month compared to 531 in January 2010.

The number of sales in 2010 was down slightly in both the Regina and Saskatoon areas. However, Saskatoon saw a minor drop in sales volume of 2% while Regina saw a slight increase in sales volume of 1%.
