2012 is off to a great start in the real estate market. Sales are up %18 (Matrix Provincial MLS System). This is very exciting for the Regina and surrounding area real estate market. It's official - total real estate sales have passed the $1 billion mark for the first time. Based on reports through the Association of Regina REALTORS® MLS® System, several new highs were sent in November 2011 compared to a year ago:

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp (CMHC) reported that there were 274 housing units started in October, almost triple from October 2010, this brings the total starts year-to-date to more than 1,400 making this the best year for starts in a decade.
