Welcome to my Website
As a CENTURY 21® Real Estate professional, with my ABR and GREEN designations, I am dedicated to providing you with the highest quality service possible. My personal knowledge of the local Real Estate market is combined with the power of the CENTURY 21 brand - the most recognized name in Real Estate today.
Let me assist you in finding your dream home, in a neighbourhood that is right for you, and in the price range you want. Or if you are interested in selling a property, I also have the expertise to help you get the fastest sale possible and at the best price.
I look forward to the opportunity of working for you!
I try to help whenever the time is there. In the past I have been active with Girl Guides and Brownies, March of Dimes, Big Brothers, Kidney Foundation, MS Society, Cancer, Heart and Stroke. However in the last few years a couple of new things have come up. I belong to the Northridge Community,Church-Salvation Army and love to give what ever time I have to many of the happenings. I also found a group called Inn From The Cold a very worthwhile group assisting the homeless. Still active in other charities and groups and love going to various town or region meetings to see what is happening but I would say that my church is number one and then the homeless.
Born in England and came to Canada in the 50's . Definitely proud to be a Canadian. I have a daughter and son who both live out on the west coast along with 4 grandchildren, a wonderful husband who lets me be me and two dogs who we look after the home for.
In my down time or spare time which is far and few in between i love to golf, travel, attempt at oil painting and stained glass. My goals are to at least try and do one painting a year and sometimes I fall short.
Traveling has included, Mexico,Cuba, the USA (many states), Italy, Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Egypt and Israel all with many adventures and stories.
In as I call my previous life I have, worked in factories, freelanced for a local newspaper, worked 18 years for 3 major corporations as a Credit Manager and then decided to get into the profession of real estate.
I started in 1987 taking all the required courses and still continue to take courses to keep myself up to date with the ever changing market.
As in every profession I have always believed in giving back to the industry. In real estate I have sat on the York Region Real Estate board in many capacities as director, committee member on Education, Government Relations, Membership, Communications and various others along with bein President in 1997 and still active until its demise in 2008.
I have and still am active on the Toronto Real Estate Board and currently am Director at Large and I sit on Government Relations, chair the GREEN Committee, chair Membership Services Committee, chair York Region Sub Committee, and sit on the Affordable Housing Committee, Also I sit on the Marketing and Communications committees on the Ontario Real Estate Board and have sat on various committees in the past..
Not one to back down and love a challenge i therefore enjoy being on Government Relations committees with my real estate board and hoping that somewhere in this life I would have made something easier for someone, somewhere being either the public or the REALTOR.
