Cold weather doesn't matter to buyers and sellers

Although we've endured record cold temperatures since the first of the year, that hasn't put a chill on sales activity in the Estevan region.  We are slightly ahead of sales for the same time period in 2013, and the weather simply isn't factoring into the market in a negative way.  The fact that there is more inventory available, prices have levelled off, and interest rates have remained low, has all combined to make this an opportune time to get into the market.  We are entering what is typically our peak selling season - April through July - so if you are thinking of selling, this is normally one of the best times to put your home on the market.  If your home is correctly priced for the market - remember, pricing matters - then you could expect a sale in under 60 days (based on Sask mls stats reports for Feb/2014 for properties in Estevan only) We will take the time to evaulate your home against recent sales, give you all the information you need to make an informed decision when determining a list price, and walk you through the process, every step of the way.  We are here to be the "buffer" between the buyer and seller - remain objective when emotions run high, and bring both sides together to a successful conclusion.  It's the season....don't let the cold weather fool you.
