Education
I received my Bachelor of Arts from C.W. Post College in Long Island, and my Masters from Harvard.
Personal Background
I was born in Brooklyn, New York. My first job was as a high school English teacher in New York. I then went on to be a commercial, multi-engine, instrument rated flight instructor. In the late 1960's, my husband and I visited the Annapolis Valley with some friends to attend the Apple Blossom Festival. While here, we viewed a farm that was for sale in Kingsport. We fell in love with it, purchased it, and the rest, as they say, is history. I have been fortunate enough to live in the Annapolis Valley since 1968, and have been a dual citizen since 1970.
Personal Interests
I am an animal lover. I have owned cows, horses, donkeys, chickens, and ducks. Dogs are my favorite animals, and my dog is my constant companion.
Professional Background
I have been a licensed REALTOR® for 25 years. I was the Director and Vice-Chairman of the Nova Scotia Real Estate Commission for 6 years, President of the Annapolis Valley Real Estate Board, the President of the Nova Scotia Real Estate Association. I am currently serving on the Complaint Reveiw Committee of the Nova Scotia Real Estate Commission.
