Professional Interests
I currently sit on the Education Committee & Professional Standards Committee for the Peterborough Kawartha Association of Realtors. With our ever changing environment and ecomonics, I feel our continuing education program is a necessary requirement of our profession, because then that information gets passed on to you, the client. I am glad to be a part of a committee that takes the selection of the courses/classes seriously. Improving the image of the professional Realtor is something that I have great interest in. I believe this profession has come a long way. I am confident our standards and ethics will only continue to improve, with better practices put into place through our Reco Code of Ethics and Professional Standards Act.
Personal Background
I was born & raised in Peterborough. I continue to love this area and feel it is a great place to reside. This city offers convenient access to sports, entertainment and leisure in a very family oriented community.
Personal Favourites
Some of my favourite places in Peterborough are simply the views, in particular, the view from the top of Hunter St., looking west into East City. The drive I take most every morning is stategically planned to drive along the Lift Locks and canal. Whether it be winter or summer, it is always and amazing site to me. Growing up in Burnham Point, the shores of Little Lake were always a favourite place to spend time. I think we have great access to many fine Golf Courses, that are located if not right in the city, then a very close drive away. If you haven't experienced the views at Bellemere Winds Golf Course (east of Keene), you need to take in a round, you won't be disappointed. If you're looking for a casual place to eat after your game, you might want to experience some great food in a relaxed atmosphere at the Kings Crossing located in Peterborough at 197 George St. S. the corner of George & Dalhousie.
