Fresh slate for 2017 on Granville Island

Over 190,000 square feet are about to become available on the tourist and artistic hub of Granville Island by 2017, as Emily Carr University plans to relocate to the Great Northern Way. What or who do you think would make the best use of space in the soon to be vacated buildings?

Glen Korstrom of Business Vancouver has a number of suggestions, the most interesting of which, and I am inclined to agree, is for a Visual Effects company to take on part of the lease. The VFX business is booming in Vancouver and what better place to house one of the companies, than the artistic heart of the city? Feel free to share your thoughts on what would be nice to see in this space.
