Community Involvement

 Although I keep very busy running my business and raising 4 children I do support a couple of favorite charities.  These include JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) as well as breast cancer research.  Both of these charities are important to me as these diseases have affected and continue to affect many of my close family members and friends.

I also enjoy volunteering in my children's classrooms as well as on field trips when I can.

Personal Interests

 My main personal interests include fitness and music.   I am an active member at Crossfit 403 in Airdrie.  Musically I enjoy playing the piano and all of our children play an instrument (piano, guitar and drums). 

I also enjoy travelling when I can - Mexico, Arizona and Nevada are my favorites.  Of course a few trips to Saskatchewan happen every year as well!

Personal Background

• I am a small town girl, growing up on a family farm in northeast Saskatchewan.  I grew up on a mixed cattle and grain farm, and I still return to the farm when I can.  Our family farm has remained in the family for well over 50 years.

• I am married and my husband Matt and I have four children.  We enjoy camping, quadding and anything related to the outdoors.  We also spend time at the rink in the winter watching our boys play hockey and our oldest daughter figure skate, all the while chasing our 5 year old around the rink! 

• I am a former piano teacher and music is a big part of my life as well as our children's lives.     

Professional Background

I have been a registered nurse for 17 years, and I have a background in emergency, rural, obstetrical and palliative care nursing.

I have been a Real Estate Associate for 2 and a half years.  In 2011 I was the top female producer and the third highest producer in my office overall.

Professional Interests

FIrst time buyers are my passion, I love the enthusiasm and also the opportunity to help guide people through the process.  First time buyers become lifelong clients.  I envision my ideal client to be one that I meet when they are buying for the first time.  I would then help them find bigger homes to suit their needs as their family grew and eventually help their children find homes as they become adults. 

Move up buyers are great too.  I offer very competitive commission rates when you allow me to sell your current home and help you purchase your "move up" home.

Specialties

I have had a lot of experience with first time buyers and they remain my passion.  My plan for 2013 is to participate in the Accredited Buyers Course through the Calgary Real Estate Board to upgrade my skills even further.
