As a realtor you would like that selling your own home and buying your own home would be an easy task. But that isn't the case. It is probably the most nerve racking experience next to prospecting every morning and night.
From preparing the home for showings to being kicked out of your home because of showings is not a fun process. Fortunately, it is a seller's market and the home didn't last very long.
Which leads me into the buying side of the market. Not good. The market now is so swamped with buyers and not enough supply that buyers are settling for just about anything in their price range and sometimes even above their price range. There are multiple offers on almost every decent property in Toronto with sold prices from 30k-150k over asking.
Likely, I did manage to score a detached side split in willowdale for an amazing price.
The journey is half complete. Now comes the packing, closing both properties and moving.... I just want my life by to normal.
