Typically here is the cycle of real estate:
February - June is extremely busy with "spring" market
July - August - activity slows down as buyers and sellers has made their home purchase and are moving in. If buyers haven't found a house in the spring market, most of them put it off until the fall. Kids are out of school, vacations are happening, people are too busy to look for a house in the hot weather.
September - November - market picks back up until Christmas time in what we call the "fall" market.

As I have been predicting for the last 12 months, the market is heating up, day by day! Tons of buyers are out shopping for a home and not just looking, they are buying. Inventory is going down and prices are going up. NOW is the time to buy. All predictions are that next year will be even BUSIER!!
