PEI Housing Market Forcast
The Canadian Real Estate Association(CREA) has recently released it’s forecast for the Canadian real estate market for 2011. Their main sentiment is that on average most markets will see a slow down is sales activity for the year compared to 2010.
PEI is forecast to see decrease in residential sales of 11.3% from 2010. In comparison, the the forecast is for an average decrease of 9% for all of Canada.
On a positive note, CREA forecasts that prices for PEI should remain stable with an average increase of 1.1% compared to a price decrease of 0.8% on average for all of Canada.
