There were 1,240 active listings at the end of May in the city of Saskatoon. There have been more sales than new inventory hitting the housing market which has brought the average price up in the city. With fewer lisitngs in the market comes a smaller selection of houses in certain price ranges. The average selling price now sits at $328,297 for the city of Saskatoon which is an increase of 8% year to date compared to 2011. In May it took an average of 27 days to sell a house in Saskatoon and the most active price range continued to be the $300,000 to $350,000 range with almost 20% of the overall sales in May.
