Savour the tastes of the Cheese Gallery in Thornbury!

Thornbury has something for every palate so while you’re visiting this quaint town tucked along the Beaver Valley river, be sure to drop by the local Cheese Gallery for an artisan cheese tasting and a delectable experience you won’t soon forget.

Owners, Casey Thomson and Wendy Bannerman-Clark had a vision to provide their customers with extraordinary local and artisan cheeses and locally produced artisan foods. The Cheese Gallery opened their doors to the public in June of 2010 and continues to evolve with a   vision that remains true.

Not only is the Cheese Gallery licensed to serve beer and wine; the Gallery also features local art and an exclusive custom framing service that is completed in house. Wendy and Casey managed to create a cozy environment that encourages all the pleasures – from sipping on a hot cup of tea to sitting back in one of their comfy lounge chairs while reading your favourite book.

The Cheese Gallery enfolds a bright, crisp, artful and extremely inviting atmosphere with backdrops of chalkboards, antiques and lavender coloured walls. You can choose from a wide range of ‘Bon Vivant’ grocery items including delicious frozen dinners, balsamic syrups, chocolate (and we all love chocolate), fresh baked bread, locally made honey, yummy pastries and much more!

A cheese tasting for two starts at $21.95 and you’ll certainly want to indulge in the gourmet grilled cheese prepared specially on their homemade bread. Awaken your culinary senses this February, cozy up to the bar and sip on your favourite wine featured from the local vineyards, Coffin Ridge and Georgian Hills Vineyards.
