Demand for Ownership Remains Strong!

The Oakville, Milton & District Real Estate Board reported 637 property sales in August 2014, a decrease of 7.7% compared to 690 in August 2013.

Notwithstanding fewer listings, Oakville’s median sale price for the month of August was $682,500, an increase of 8.5 per cent
compared to August 2013.  This indicates that Sellers' market conditions remained in place with competition between buyers and is why we continued to see strong price growth last month.

“Despite fewer property sales and new listings brought to market, Oakville continued to see strong residential sale prices,” said Jack McCrudden, President of OMDREB. “Overall, the Halton real estate market is on pace for a strong finish this year in property sales, new listings, and residential sale price.”

Halloween Activities For you and your Family!

Looking for Halloween activities for you and your family.  You might want to visit the Halton Pumpkin Trail or the The OakvilleTiny Tots Parade.

This fall you can also explore the Halton Pumpkin Trail, a self-guided map that connects residents and visitors to local events and products from mid-September to October 31.  The map guides you to where you can find pumpkin-themed activities, farms to sample and buy products, and restaurants to savour local cuisines. It’s a great way to find hidden (or not so hidden) gems within our great region with friends and family.
