Real Estate and Divorce

 

Unfortunately and quite often, I am engaged as a Realtor to sell a matrimonial home due to a separation, or a pending divorce. Acting for both the vendors can be made simple if the "rules" are discussed prior to listing the property. There are also several marketing hints that should also be discussed so as not to give away any price reduction scenarios. For example; a home for sale that has had one of the spouses clothing removed immediately shows signs of distress, allowing the potential buyer in on the urgency to sell.
