As a CENTURY 21® Real Estate professional, I am dedicated to providing you with the highest quality service possible. My personal knowledge of the local Real Estate market is combined with the power of the CENTURY 21 brand - the most recognized name in Real Estate today.
Cottages Online - Let me assist you in finding your dream home or cottage, in an area that is right for you, and in the price range that you want. Or if you are interested in selling a property, I also have the expertise to help you get the fastest sale possible and at the best price.
I look forward to the opportunity of working for you!
My wife Carrie and I are the proud parents of 3 great kids and 2 grand daughters. My oldest is a 23 year old boy who currently had his Arts degree from Queen's University. My oldest daughter is 22 years old and she is a proud mother to my grand daughters Isabel and Layton. My youngest daughter is 13 years old in grade 9 at Tomas A Stewart Secondary School.
I was raised in Thornhill, but I have been a cottager in the Kawarthas my entire life.
I would have to say that most of my personal interests revolve around the lake. Fishing, golf, skating, spending time with friends and family, I guess living the dream really is possible.
I try to stay involved as much as possible with my industry via the internet. I find that I keep in touch best by playing hockey in the winter and golf in the summer. The men's leagues that I have been in over the years have a diverse group and there is a steady flow of information covering many industries.
My good friend Ron in his usual spot.
In conjunction with my real estate career I also own Canadian Cottage Ltd. Specializing in landscape and property maintenance we have been servicing the Kawartha Lakes area since 1999.
Fleming College - 2007
After graduating from Thornhill Secondary School in 1986 I centered my post secondary education around business, computers and sociology. I have found that this background has been a huge benefit to me and the major reason that I have been self employeed for the past 18 years.
- Seneca College - Business Administration
- Trent University - Sociology
- Toronto School of Business - Valedictorian
Over the years we have been involved with the Lakefield Santa Clause Parade, donated to and fund raised for the Canadian Cancer Society, supported the Lung Association and volunteered at our children's schools as much as possible.
- Rural Properties
The award that I am most proud of would have to be my Certified Landscape Professional designation (CLP). This extensive business course allowed me to be highly competitive in the Landscape Industry while giving me the ability to structure the business in a way that gave me time to concentrate on my Real Estate career.
How to Buy / Sell your Home
I have available excellent reference books. One is a step-by-step guide for home owners on How to Sell Your Home and the other is a step-by-step guide for home buyers on How To Buy Your Home. Just send along an email with your address and I will gladly mail one to you free of charge, alternatively feel free to drop by the office to pick one up.
Here is an excerpt from the How To Sell Your Home book.
........ the most important element in your marketing plan is starting with the "right" price. Set it too high and you'll diminish the effectiveness of your Realtor's other marketing efforts. Select too low a price and you'll either miss out on potential proceeds or cause people to wonder "what's wrong" with your property............
