Welcome to my Website

As a CENTURY 21® Real Estate professional, I am dedicated to providing you with the highest quality service possible. I have spent many years in Customer Service in one form or another. Over the years many of my customers have become friends, all from providing them with honest, sincere advice in their purchases.

I look forward to providing the same high-quality customer service and satisfaction in my Real Estate transactions.

Continuing Education ensures that I keep current on both proven and new information. The Create21 course, a 3 week online course specifically designed to train Real Estate agents to be effective in an ever-changing market, has really increased my ability to serve my clients.

Personal Background

Originally born in Milton, N.S., I moved to Bridgewater when I was very young and lived there for most of my life. This South Shore boy now calls Dartmouth home. Still close to the rural life so I can enjoy fishing, but being in the city I can partake in all the experiences available here! Live music, concerts, Symphony Nova Scotia, and of course, BBQ'd sausages on the waterfront!

Personal Interests

Growing up on the South Shore gave me a lot of opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. My love of fishing has led me to become a founding member and past-president of the South Shore BassMasters.

Bass, trout, shad and many other fish have also been fooled by some of the flies I've tied over the years. I still find tying flies a great way to relax during the winter months.

Professional Background

I have been in the sales industry for over 30 years. This has allowed me to meet a wide variety of people, with a wide variety of personalities.

From my past sales experience I have learned how to listen to my customers to find the best product for their needs. By applying this to the Real Estate industry, I am able to serve my clients to the best of my ability. That, backed with the experience of the Century 21 team, will help me advise my clients on the best choices for their needs.

Professional Interests

Soon after moving to Dartmouth I discovered the joy of Dartmouth Players Theatre. After spending a few years working both on and off stage, I joined the Board of Directors. Now, after serving the last four years as a Board member, this year finds me newly elected as the Chairman of the Dartmouth Players Board. With this position I can continue to support the belief that quality theatre should be available to all that want to enjoy it, whether on stage, behind the scenes, or from the audience!

Community Involvement

Community Theatre in the HRM has helped me find my love for stage. I first auditioned for a play at Bedford Players in 2008 and have been hooked ever since. The Director of that play gave me the male lead, and with the encouragement and support of my talented fellow actors and actresses, I have made the stage my second home. If not pounding the boards I also can be found behind the scenes, running the lights and/or sound for the shows.

Currently I volunteer at Dartmouth Players Theatre and spend as much time there as possible. As Chairman of the Board of Directors for DP, I work with a great group that is dedicated to bringing affordable, quality theatre to the residents of Dartmouth.

As well as Chairman, I recently I added the role of Producer to my credits with Dartmouth Players, having produced a Ghost Walk/Murder Mystery, as well as a radio adaptation of "It's A Wonderful Life" in historic Sherbrooke Village. These productions were joint efforts between Dartmouth Players, Lion's Den Theatre and Sherbrooke Village. Both plays were the first of their kinds for all groups and was so well received that we plan on continuing with more shows planned for 2014. " We have had the pleasure of knowing Mike for a couple of years, so when it came time for us to buy our first home it was an easy decision to ask Mike for his expertise.

Mike had asked us to give him a rough idea of the type of house we wanted and what we were looking for in it. Within a day we had a package of 5 or 6 homes for us to consider. Not only did he encourage us to ask him a lot of questions at every step of the way, he helped us along in our understanding of what we wanted. He was able to determine exactly what we were searching for and in a very short period of time found us our dream home.

Mike was more than willing to work around our busy schedules and he made every step of the process fun, enjoyable and stress free. But most importantly we felt he always had our best interests at heart and was willing to go above and beyond to get us the answers we needed quickly.

Thank you so much for all your hard work. We consider you a friend and will be recommending you to anyone looking to buy or sell."
