Personal Background

I was born and raised in Bulgaria, and have lived in Russia and Sweden. In 1991, I moved to Red Deer, where I chose to raise my children. I made this beautiful place my true home.

Community Involvement

I am a Rotarian and a past president of my Rotary club. Rotary has given me the opportunity to be involved in many local service projects such as building playgrounds, funding youth and family services, and supporting lunch programs for schools. I am also a member of PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization) and volunteer with Central Alberta Refuge Effort and Canada World Youth. I am passionate about building vibrant communities, and love to see and help others thrive!

Personal Interests

I am passionate about history, economy, and politics. I love ballet, dance and music! Of course, I watch the NHL playoffs (as much as I can), love hockey and soccer.
