Canada Day Guide 2013

Canada Day is only a few days away now, and while I know everyone is looking forward to the long weekend not all of you will be leaving town. For those of you that are going to spend your weekend at home there are tons of Canada celebrations going on in and around the city.

Brampton Once again held at Chinguacousy Park the festivities begin at 12pm and expect lots of family fun and great music performed by Hedley and special guest Anjulie.

 Mississauga The official kick off ceremony will begin at 4pm in celebration square. Expect lots of entertainment, Down with Webster will be performing as well as other musical acts and professional dance performances.

Caledon Hosted at the Albion Hills Conservation Area and starting at 4pm, expect a fun family day for the kids, with parking and admission being free.

Orangeville Held behind the Adler Street Rec Centre and hosted by the Rotary Club of Orangeville the event will kick off with a Kids Parade at 7pm and will host a multitude of activities for the whole family.

Vaughan Hosted at the Mackenzie Glen District Park there will be live performances by Mia Martina and dance band These Kids Wear Crowns. With tons of activities like the Tim Hortons Inflatable Zone, it'll be a great day out.

Toronto Held in Mel Lastman Square there will be live performances children's activities and a fireworks display choreographed to an all Canadian soundtrack.

The Beaches Toronto Enjoy the Red White and Vinyl festival at Woodbine Park hosted by Vinyl 95.3 fm and than make your way over to Ashbridges Bay for their amazing fireworks display starting at 9:30pm.

 Niagara Falls Quite possibly the creme de la creme of all Canada Day celebration expect lots of fun, crowds and activities with a spectacular fireworks show.
