Kimberley General Store

Set in the core of this small country town, the Kimberley General Store continues to cater to the needs of their valued customers after first opening their doors just five years ago at the end of May.

After 40 years, Kimberley General Store reopened their doors to add a new vibrancy to this rural village.  The building was originally opened as a general store in the 1900's.

It’s been several years since the Village of Kimberley has had such a luxury whether you're a local, tourist or someone living on the healthy side, you're sure to find all your basic needs and more in the heart of the Beaver Valley. One minute from Talisman and five minutes from the Beaver Valley Ski Club, Kimberley general store is a thriving depot full of unique and one-of-a-kind goods.

With "incredible community support", owner, Stacie Constantine, lives above the store with no intentions of ever running a general store business; however, Stacie was quick to 'hop on the train' and seize the opportunity when it arose. "I just seemed to show up in the right place at the right time", she said. "When the building came up for sale, I snapped it up within five hours".

You'll find a wide variety of products, ranging from homemade cinnamon buns and banana bread to the best butter tarts in Grey County complete with spelt crust and real maple syrup.

Drop by the store to enjoy a "strong" fair trade and organic coffee or dabble in some freshly made soups, stews and sandwiches. Top off your sammie with pea sprouts grown at the store and a kathir (yogurt) smoothie to further satisfy your palette.

The store carries a variety of items including eco-friendly soaps, cleaners and locally made angora blankets and hats just to name a few. Shop for that perfect gift, and browse through the general sundries. You'll find fresh produce, locally grown and organic where possible, the basic items for food preparation, locally made jams, honey, maple syrup, and frozen items for a quick and delicious meal.

The Kimberley general store is a trip well worth it! Located at 235304 on Grey Rd #13, and open throughout the year, take time to visit this classic store. For further information or stores hours, contact Stacie -1-519-599-3451 or visit their website
