I wanted to share with everyone a tight, community oriented part of Oakville ripe with potential - Bronte Village. Situated in South West Oakville, Bronte Village has seen gradual growth and change over the past 10 years with many updates only improving the area.
The Bronte Harbour Marina
In the summertime, nothing beats Bronte Village by the lake with the apex being the marina. Take a stroll down by the waterfront at anytime of the day and be greeted by friendly community members, take in a stunning view of the waterfront and relax on the patio of the Marina's waterfront facing restaurant to take in some live music.
Bronte Village Restaurants, Bars and Cafes
Known also for its cuisine and entertainment, take your friends, family or partner down to any one of Bronte's restaurants or bars for a night out. If you are looking for after work drinks or a relaxing weekend lunch, try 'Plank'. Looking to catch a sporting event? 'The Fire Hall' has a great menu and a welcoming environment for suc occasions. Bronte even offers a fine dining experience with 'Cucci'.
Schools and Community Centre
Not only is it a community offering a wide variety of entertainment and scenary, but Bronte is above all a tight nit community that values family. The recent renovations to the Queen Elizabeth Park Community Center now offers a place for families and people of all ages to go for activities ranging from tennis, badminton and volleyball to arts & crafts classes. What's more, Bronte also has a number of elementary schools - Eastview, Oakville Christian School - and nearby high schools - St. Thomas Aquinas, Blakelock High School - with strong positive reputations for success.
As a long standing community member of Bronte and an individual who services this area as a real estate salesperson, I invite anyone to come to my home town and check it out.
