Event: Doors Open Burlington

Date: June 12 and 13, 2010

"Doors Open Burlington" is a free event in partnership with the Ontario heritage Trust and Doors Open Ontario, that will provide residents and visitors with a unique opportunity to learn about places and spaces usually not open to the general public or for which an admission is normally charged.

Sites will include the Burlington Art Centre, Ireland House Museum, Burlington City Hall, The Burlington Gingerbread House, L'Eglise Saint-Phillippe, the Estaminet, Knox Presbyterian Church, Lowville Park and Schoolhouse, Lowville United Church, RCSCC Iron Duke, Rosewater Spa (former Burlington Public Library), St. John’s Anglican Church, St. Luke’s Anglican Church and Walt Rickli Carving Studio and Sculpture Garden.

To obtain a copy of the official "Doors Open Burlington" program visit one of the event headquarter locations at City Hall or Lowville Park on June 12 or 13 and also enter to win one of six free overnight stays at a Burlington Hotel, provided by the Burlington Hotel Association.
