"From the moment I walked in the door at 467 Speers Rd. until I signed my contract, I felt like I belonged at CENTURY 21 Miller. My first impression was excellent – entering through the grand entrance and hearing a friendly welcome from the support staff provided an inviting atmosphere. Things only got better from there.
Sheena met with me on schedule, and was well-prepared for my visit. She was friendly, professional and had plenty of information for me. Throughout my conversation with her and during her presentation, I found myself thinking: “what’s the catch?!” It seemed too good to be true, and I was hooked after only one visit. Needless to say, I was eager to come back a couple of days later to meet with Linda.
On my return, I was again warmly greeted by the kind people at the front desk. Linda was also very friendly and told me about CENTURY 21’s training approach and the hands-on training that she provides to sales representatives. Linda was engaging and entertaining - great characteristics for a trainer to have! After this first informative session, I was very pleased when she asked me to attend one of her training sessions later that week. The training session was well-targeted to new real estate representatives. The small group size made it a great learning environment. It also allowed me to meet with new members of the CENTURY 21 Miller team and get their insight and opinions on the franchise. Only good things were said that day, which speaks volumes about the reputation of the brokerage.
My next visit started bright and early as I got to meet with the man himself, Bill Miller. Bill shared a wealth of knowledge and had some great real estate stories. I really enjoyed talking to Bill and our conversation left me feeling like this was the brokerage I wanted to sign with. Later that afternoon, I signed the contract.
In addition to everything I have said above about the CENTURY 21 Miller brokerage, I think it will be extremely beneficial to have a strong brand behind me. As a young female starting out in real estate, it will be essential to have a solid brand, significant presence in the marketplace, and a good management team supporting me. I truly believe that CENTURY 21 Miller will provide me with all of those things and not only allow me to be successful, but help and encourage me to do so. "There are few people who can truly say that their job is their passion, but I count myself among the lucky few who do. After several years of working in human resources for large financial firms in the GTA, I decided that my love for real estate was something more than a hobby. I was born and raised in the small farming town of Aylmer, Ontario, but have since gone on to live in several different communities, including London, Burlington, Brampton and Toronto.
