Nakusp has a rich history, dating back to the silver mining boom of the 1890s. While businesses have come and gone, the residents have remained to enjoy such an incredible quality of life. If you need to revitalize, Nakusp has everything you need from hiking, to the beach, to the hot springs, or even just relaxing at a spa. Go for walk along the gorgeous Waterfront Pathway to the Japanese Garden, enjoy a hike along Cedar Grove Trail or simply soak up the sun on the beach.

The Nakusp Hot Springs located a few kilometres east, complimented by the village’s spa and wellness services is a great way to indulge in some much needed aromatherapy during the winter months. Summit Lake Ski Hill is perfect for downhill skiers and snowboarders, and there are many cross-country ski trails in the area. If you’re a little more daring, book a heli-ski vacation through Canadian Mountain Holidays.

[Century 21 Mountainview has 4 offices for TOTAL West Kootenay Real Estate exposure!]

To learn more about the culture and history of the village check out the Nakusp Museum. The Nakusp Music Festival attracts up to 5,000 people for a weekend of classic-rock in July. The town also hosts a BC Day event in August complete with a car show more than worth checking out. A small community with much diversity, Nakusp is just the place you need to be.
