The London-area real estate market was as chilly as the weather in March. The London and St.Thomas (LSTAR) said 612 homes sold in March, down 20% from the same month last year.
New listings were also down 9.4% overall, while inventory - the number of active listings at month's end - was down 7.2%,
St.Thomas fared better than London last month, with 50 homes sold, the same number as last March.
Year to date sales are up 12.8% in St.Thomas, while the average year tod date price for a home there stands at $$198.548. compared to London where the price of the average home stands at $241,756.
