Tonight (May 23rd) there will be a Cancer Relay For Life Volunteer Registratiopn and information Night at the Knights of Columbus Hall from 6:30 until 8 pm. Co-chair of Relay Bev Trethaway says the volunteers are looking good, but they can always use more. Trethaway mentioned that this event is open to people who have already registered or people interested in helping out.

The Incubation Centre for Entrepreneurs was presented with a $5000. cheque from the Royal Bank of Canada. The presentation was made Wednesday morning. General Manager of the Elgin Business Resource Cente John Regan says this amount will help towards developing programs for their youth entrepreneurs.
