ELGIN-ST.THOMAS STILL FREE OF WEST NILE VIRUS

It's that time of year in Ontario, where human cases of West Nile start popping up.  One probable case has already been identified in London, and Jim Reffle, manager of health protection at Elgin-St.Thomas Public Health, says that although we haven't seen any human cases here in St.Thomas, we should still take precautions.

Feffle says that most people who get West Nile don't even know, as there are very few symptoms.  If you do suspect something, get checked by your doctor.  Otherwise, Reffle says most people's bodies build an immunity and get better on their own.
