Are you living the pledge? Today (Thursday), the 2013 campaign to "Live the Pledge" to end bullying is kicking off.
Beginning at 9 a.m. at the Victoria Campus of London Health Sciences Centre, community members are invited to come take the pledge. Julie Maitby, co-chair of the campaign, says over the last two years they've had over 210,000 people register to "live the pledge"
Maitby adds that everyone has heasrd horrible stories, such as the suicide of Amanda Todd, that are due to bullying. She says the pledge is about putting into action the words we commit t; this means reporting on bullying in the workplace and in cyberspace, and obviously not partaking in bullying ourselves.
