Strathroy, ON

Strathroy-Caradoc is a municipality located just west of London. It was created through the merger of the former township of Caradoc and the town of Strathroy in the late 1990s. Its two largest settlements are Strathroy and Mount Brydges.

Strathroy-Caradoc is a primarily rural municipality. Industries include turkey and chicken hatching and processing, corn and tobacco. Some industrial products are manufactured in Strathroy, the township's largest locality and its commercial, cultural and industrial centre.

The Port Stanley Terminal Railway is gearing up fo another busy summer.  Already, they have hosted hundreds of families who have taken a ride on the green train.   The Salvation Army is throwing a concert - and the only admission is a noperishable food item.  Captain Mark Hall, Minister of the Salvation Army, explains why they're having the event.    The St.Thomas Seniors Centre were  recipients of a $25,0000 grant from the federal government on Friday.  The funding came through the New Horizons for Seniors Program.  Another huge recognition for Port Stanley's Main Beach on Lake Erie.
