Family First

Happy December 1!!

I know it’s a really busy month, but above the shopping and the events, I was thinking about what to do to make it extra special time for me and my family this year.  All those who know me, know that I love creating memories and spending time with those close to my heart.  So I’m thinking about what to do.  Maybe, I’ll bring all my young cousins, nieces and nephews together and have us bake the desserts for Christmas dinner or to deliver as gifts to each family member.  Or hubby and I can invite our friends over for a late night game night session with drinks and little bits… that would be fun.  Not sure yet which way I will go….

I think my favorite memory in most recent years is driving around the city to see the beautifully decorated houses, and rate our favorite ones (Actually, I think I am the only one who rates…).  Either way, I say all this to say that memories mean so much more than the things that we receive, but the time spent in our kitchens, baking, or in the family room decorating the tree, are the memories that will last above all, so make sure that you invest some time into those family memories.

If interested, look at the following articles.  Some of the ideas you may already know, along with some new ideas.

Have a great month!!
