United Way Oakville is gearing up to launch its 2014 fundraising campaign with the unveiling of 80 street flags in Kerr Village.
Sponsored by Reliance Home Comfort, the street flags feature a ‘give where you live’ message to encourage residents to support the local community. The Kerr Village BIA has partnered with United Way Oakville for the past seven years, generously supporting the installation of street flags throughout Kerr Village during United Way’s campaign season.
“We couldn’t do this without the support of both the Kerr Village BIA and Reliance Home Comfort,” commented Brad Park, CEO of United Way Oakville. “These partnerships help us deliver important messaging during our campaign and allow us to continue to direct donor dollars where they are needed most, back into the community.”
Reliance Home Comfort has a long and proud tradition of giving back to the communities in which its customers and employees live and work. They work to build partnerships that enhance community life and promote well-being in a variety of ways, including sponsorships that have a broad and positive impact. Reliance Home Comfort is a proud supporter of United Way and has generously sponsored United Way Oakville’s street flags for a three year period.
“Supporting the local fabric of our communities is something we feel strongly about at Reliance Home Comfort,” said Sean O’Brien, President & CEO of Reliance Home Comfort and United Way Oakville’s 2014 Campaign Chair. “We are thrilled to unveil the new Reliance sponsored street flags and embark on United Way’s 2014 fundraising campaign.”
