RCMP Transfers

I have had the priviledge of assisting members and staff with with both moving into our Okanagan communiites and transferring out since 2008. Although there are recent changes (2018) to how the RCMP handle transferrs by taking them over internally, I remain an approved Supplier with Brookfield Global Relocation Services and am currently active with the RCMP's new transfer system.

My aim is to help you transition to or from your post in respect to helping you find a new home or sell your exisiting home and make a referral to a trusted agent in the area you are moving to.

As a member moving to the Okangan I make your trip here efficient due to the legwork we do ahead of time. This legwork includes first identifying the community you would like to live in and then making sure I include only the preferred parts of that community. From there, I learn about your time-line, desired preferences, whether or not you have children and can discuss which schools service which areas. Once your criteria is clear, including budget, I create a search of available homes. The search can be ongoing, especially if the posting is not yet approved and you're just starting your inquiries, whereby you will receive a daily email when there is a new listing that fits your criteria.

Once your new post is approved and you book a date to travel here to view homes, we will work together to create the best list possible so that your time here is used wisely. Once a list of potential homes is identified, I will research each one to be sure it does indeed fit your criteria, has not had a grow-op in it or some other form of disclosure that would steer you away from the home and even offer to do a walk-through before your trip here. This way, each property on your list can be a real contender, and with any luck, you'll have a hard time choosing between a couple of them. This approach has you often viewing less homes, but each one will be highly compatible whith what's most important to you. From there, I work to streamline the balance of the process in terms of the offer, subject removals and have approved an approved home inspector and lawyer I can refer you to as well. As a member moving to another community, I am familiar with the paperwork required in terms of providing a market evaluation and updated marketing strategies, the number of showings the home has had and general feedback. I also agree to the remuneration offered by the RCMP and adhere to their requirements. My service also includes a referral to a trusted colleage who works similarily to me and is familar with working with transferring members so that your buying experience where you're moving to can be paralleled to your selling experience. Listing your home includes a full market evaluation including learning everything about the specifics of your home and then sharing with you the current market conditions, learning about your moving time-line and then reviewing your home's market value based on comparable sales. Often the homes in our communities are unique with few comparable sales but my experience in Vernon, Coldstream, Armstrong, Enderby, Sicamous is extensive and together we can determine a fair asking price of your home. I strive to be a partner with my clients and believe the key lies in communication. Member Testimonials

Here are a few member's and an administrative transferee comments about their experience in working with me. If you would like to speak with any one of my member-clients, please ask and I will be sure to have a few of them contact you.

Kyle Eadie - Transfer out from Vernon to the Vancouver area:

"To whom it may concern,

My wife and I have just recently had the pleasure of working with Paige, who came highly recommended, to sell our home. In our first meeting with Paige it was evident that she was well informed and very professional in her approach. She was very receptive to our vision, but more importantly honest and informative. As a result of her hard work and dedication to her craft, our house sold within 24hrs at full asking price. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Paige in the future, or recommend her to anyone who is looking for a realtor.

Your faithfully,

Kyle Eadie"

Janet Moore - Administration transfer in from Williams Lake to Vernon (while this was not a formal RCMP transfer, Janet changed from working with the RCMP in Williams Lake to a similar position with the City of Vernon and was referred to me by more than one of my clients, both active members in the Vernon detachment).

Sgt. Derrick Donovan - Transfer in

“I just want express my appreciation for Paige’s dedicated service, professionalism and understanding of the pressures of myself and fellow members working under a tight time table to secure the right home which will work best for our families. I can strongly recommend Paige Gregson to any incoming member looking for property in the North Okanagan."
