Bradford Santa Claus Parade 2013
The Santa Claus Parade Bradford was well attended this past Saturday November 16, 2013. It was wonderful weather for a parade Saturday night as creative, brightly lit floats and festive music moved along Holland Street in Bradford.
The parade commenced promptly at 6:30PM from Bradford High School and carried South on Holland Street to Simcoe Road into the downtown core, where local residents and visitors lined the streets of Bradford with family and friends to watch various floats make their way along.
Century 21 Heritage Group Ltd. actively participated by handing out free goodies to parade goers. Volunteers Karon Langton (Bradford Manager), Martha Marton (Sales Representative), Alexandra (Ali) Ryan (Sales Representative), Marie Carothers (Sales Representative), and Ellen Walker (Sales Representative) donated their time by handing out poured cups of Tim Horton’s hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies in front of their real estate office located at 49 Holland Street West.
Other participants included South Simcoe Paramedics, the Annual Feed The Deer Collection and Santa’s Elves. South Simcoe Paramedics collected donations of unwrapped toys for their toy drive, The Annual Feed the Deer Collection collected toonie donations for charity and Santa’s Elves collected Letters to Santa en route.
Century 21 Heritage Group Ltd. Bradford would like to thank all those who stopped by for a warm drink and cookies and to wish all families in the community, their neighbours and friends a warm, safe and happy holiday season!
