East Farnham, QC
Nestled against Cowansville and virtually surrounded by Brigham, East Farnham is a smallish community that officially came into being in 1914, though its first settlers opened the territory in the early 1800s. Its land is essentially flat and mostly used for agricultural purposes, from traditional crops and cattle to berries and grapes.
To some extent, it is a bedroom community for Cowansville and has drawn in many weekenders who come from Montreal, a scant 50 minutes away. East Farnham is very close to Bromont and its summer and winter sport facilities, Cowansville and its shopping cornucopia, Brome Lake and its water sports, Dunham and its wineries.
