Welcome

Red Deer and surrounding area is a great place to call home. I have attended local schools, am a Red Deer College Alumni, am active in the community with groups such as the Red Deer Kinsmen, Penhold Neighborhood Place, and the Red Deer Real Estate board.  I’m sure you’ll enjoy the many social and cultural nuances as much as I have.

Having joined my family at Century 21 Advantage I continue to learn and love, real estate.  I am a full-time professional sales representative, office manager, and owner of Century 21 Advantage. I have been apart of Red Deer's #1 MLS real estate office since 2002.

Personal Background

Being a parent I can relate to moving with children, getting settled in a new city, and the balance of life around volunteer activities and sport. I have grown accustomed to scheduling around my volunteer obligations, not just out of necessity but in large part because I enjoy being involved. I set out to finish what I start and do so with integrity and fun, and would be more than happy to sit down with you and discuss your real estate needs. I'm sure you'll enjoy living here as much as my family.

Professional Background

I started in real estate in 2002.  Prior to that I was a restaurant general manager.  I managed fast food and restaurants as well as casual dining.  I have always been team oriented and customer service focused.  I have also been involved in the organizations and trade associations in each area.

I managed the highest volume Wendy's in Red Deer and Calgary, I managed and opened Taco Bell stores in Calgary, and opened the Tony Roma's on Barlow in Calgary.  While in Calgary I sat on the International Avenue BRZ board where we worked as business owners to revitalize 17 ave S.E and increase traffic to our businesses.

Today I sit on the Central Alberta Realtors Association board, since 2006.

Community Involvement

Never one to sit on my hands and watch the world go by I've always been active in the community.  Presently I am active with:

  • The Red Deer Kinsmen assisting with the Dream Home annually (2007 Dream Home Chair)
  • Penhold Regional Multiplex Campaign Cabinet, building a world class centre for the community
  • The Central Alberta Realtors Association as a board director since 2006.
  • Central Alberta Realtors Association Charitable Foundation

The great thing about being active is that not only am I involved, but I learn more about my community, my profession and the people I get to meet.

Personal Interests

I enjoy skiing, and taking pictures.  I don't ski nearly as often as I like but it is a wonderful activity and makes me feel really proud to be Canadian when standing at the top of our rocky mountain ski hills.  De and I would embark on weekend and day hikes prior to childeren as we both share a zest for the mountains.

Education

I attended Elementary and Junior High School here in Red Deer.  I attended high school in Saskatoon.  Post secondary I attended the Red Deer College and later transferred to the University of Calgary where I completed my Bachelor of Commerce Degree.
