We're in the middle of Westerner Days here in Red Deer and the temperature is on the rise. Forecast is for some sun and heat!
It can be a busy time trying to fit in all the festivities and work. We got together as a group and launched some golf and most recently celebrated with a chili cook off for lunch.

CMHC news release today.
The seasonally adjusted annual rate1 of housing starts increased to 128,400 units in May from 117,600 units in April, according to Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC).
"The increase in May is broadly based, encompassing both the singles and multiples segments," said Bob Dugan, Chief Economist at CMHC's Market Analysis Centre.

Days on Market is a measure of sales typically an average number. A better measure may be the "median" rather than an "average". The average DOM for April sales was 44 days while the median DOM for April was 40 days. An indicator that buyer's are looking and buying at those listings that are "fresh" on the market. What is a "Shredathon"?
I'm not sure, I actually made up the word to convey an event where you can bring your old files from home and shred them safe and secure.
The event is this Saturday at 9 am and runs until 3:00 pm at Parkland Mall. Look for the Merlin Shredding Truck in the west parking lot in front of Staples and Safeway.

We were invited to attend the Chairman's Circle for Century 21 Canada this year. This invitation only conference is for the top 30 offices in Canada. Century 21 Advantage was number 12 for sales production in the Century 21 Canada ranks.
