There is so much to see and do in Central Alberta in any season. Recently
I had an opportunity to take some time off with a few friends and enjoy a round
of golf. Sure there was a frost delay as there are in many areas across
Canada this time of year, but it was worth it. One of the joys of golfing

Got to love the weather in Alberta. Really it is fantastic. We get some terrific weather patterns throughout the year. Here in Central Alberta we are immune for the most part to long durations of extreme heat and extreme cold. We have a moderate climate and we are blessed with warm westerly winds a.k.a Chinooks that thaw our winters and warm our hearts.

What great Canadian city wouldn't have a "Coronation Park"? Regina has one, Calgary, Toronto and...
Of course Red Deer does, and my Google search for "Coronation Park" turned up 106,000 results. Of course I didn't go through all them to check for relevant to Canada as there are some I'm sure in Australia, and other Commonwealth Countries. So are we unique by having a "Coronation Park"?

Red Deer lies in the "parkland" of Alberta. Evident when driving North from Calgary on The QE2 highway, you are welcomed by rolling hills, green fields and trees galore.
