Red Deer lies in the "parkland" of Alberta. Evident when driving North from Calgary on The QE2 highway, you are welcomed by rolling hills, green fields and trees galore. Previously I mentioned that Penhold is the little town that can. Much of the emphasis is on growth and new development. I thought I would share a few photos from Penhold that make Penhold a great place to call home.I like the look of certain streets, how they frame the road etc... I'm partial to older areas with trees that create a canopy to drive down. New areas of course ...
