Joffre is located 23 km northeast of Red Deer, Alberta. For most residents of the area, the petrochemical site and the bridge over the river are more synonymous to Joffre than the actual village. A few name changes over the years with the exception of the large NOVA Chemicals.
NOVA Chemicals' Joffre manufacturing facility lies just east of Red Deer, Alberta, and is the largest ethylene ...

Morrisroe is a great family neighborhood in Red Deer, not just because it is close to schools, and parks but the character really shows. The house styles have a great variety, look and feel to them. Some of that may have been influenced by St. Mary's Catholic Church.
The church is an early work by Canadian architect Douglas Cardinal. The inspiration or centre focal point is the ...

What area do you live in or want to buy in?

The areas with higher number of townhouses, apartments etc... tend to have a lower average list price than say Oriole Park that is currently being developed so a lot of new homes are being built, listed and sold there pushing ...

Not enough to pull a reversal on what has transpired so far but an optimistic outlook for the fall perhaps. Total single-family home MLS sales for the month of July 2008 totaled 139. That was 22% more than the 114 sales reported in 2007 for single-family homes. House prices have remained ...

Not your typical movie fare, but when it comes to new listings 2008, is a block buster of a year.
It wasn't that long ago we were in a heated seller's market, we only have to look as far back as 2006. Then we started transitioning out of that frenzy in 2007 to today's buyer's market. Each market has it's good points and bad depending on the side of the transactional fence you are sitting. For ...

We were all quite surprised when they informed us this was the 29th annual "Bowl for Kids" in support of Big Brothers and Big Sisters through the Youth and Volunteer Centre in Red Deer. 29 years is a feat for any annual campaign. For a fundraiser that is truly inspiring. So many causes try different events and have to change tings up in order to achieve their goal. Today was a lot of fun. Each ...
