Halloween Home Buying Doesn't Have To Be Spooky

Pumpkins, Candy and Real Estate?

Yes tomorrow night kids and their parents's will be running up and down the streets going door to door in search of candy.  Chances are you will see a house that you are curious about.  I remember as a kid some of the houses we would go to and as the door opened you eagerly scope out what treats they are handing out.  There was this one house on my route that had a spiral staircase visible form the front entry.  We lived in your average bi-level in Morrisroe and none of my friends had anything like that.  I remember us talking about that spiral stair case, it was  "cool".

Is there a feature that you have seen recently that makes you go "cool"?

As REALTORS® we are fortunate that we get to see a lot of homes, and many features.  I also volunteer my time with the Red Deer Kinsmen where we give away a house through the Dream Home Lottery.  This years Red Deer Kinsmen Dream Home is another great home that is very family friendly and loaded with features.  It has granite counter tops, hardwood floors, and of course a home theatre.  One feature makes me go "cool".  That is the closets.  Closets?  Yes the closet at the front entry is positioned such that it is under the stairs to the master bedroom.  The front closet is also large enough to walk in and boasts one heck of an organizer with shoe racks and coat racks for a family to remain organized.  The master bedroom walk in closet is also superbly done with detail and functionality that is top notch.

Some times it's not the bling that is cool but the function.

What's on your cool feature list?
