Stronger Buyers Market Or Spring Bump?
May "For Sale" signs are popping up faster than dandelions out there right now.
Our present number of active listings in Red Deer is 741 with 44 of those showing as conditional or pending. That's close to one hundred more listings on the market than 2009 where we had 659 for the same time frame.
Does this 12% increase in listings yield a similar increase in sales for Red Deer?
No it hasn't. Sales volumes have been relatively stable though. Last week there were 31 sales reported compared to 35 in 2009 for the same week.
As you know we can see some trends on a daily basis but the monthly and yearly numbers tell the storey more so.
