What are you doing this weekend that is FREE?

Always lots to do on a summer weekend, especially here in Central Alberta.

If you haven't had the opportunity you should look at the Tourism Red Deer's website The Alberta Sweet 16, 16 weekends of fun in Central Alberta from the May long weekend to Labour Day weekend, 2008. www.centralalbertaevents.com

This weekend you'll find information regarding the Wetaskiwin Air Show.  Smoke, precision, speed and synchronized high performance aerobatics will be on display as incredible performers take to the skies on July 26 & 27 for the Wetaskiwin Air Show. Join us on the Reynolds-Alberta Museum grounds for the Canadian Forces Snowbirds Demonstration Team and many other in-air acts. On the ground you can explore airplane displays, as well as the collection of vintage vehicles, agricultural equipment and aircraft at the Reynolds-Alberta Museum (which is waiving their admission for the weekend). With concessions, gift booths and park 'n' ride options, there's no excuse to miss this free event!

For more information visit the Westaskiwin Air Show website.  Wetsakiwin is approx minutes north of Red Deer.

If you're local to stay within Red Deer this weekend, be sure to check out Centre Fest.  Downtown - 4 blocks where Ross and Gaetz intersect - will again be the site of CentreFest, Red Deer's annual street performers festival.
If wonder, magic, crowds, tasty treats, intriguing vendors, Kids World and art and artists is your thing, you'll find it at CentreFest.  Centre Fest is in it's 6th year and is a fun event with free events all taking place in downtown Red Deer on Ross Street at Gaetz Avenue.  Saturday, July 26th from 11am to 8pm and Sunday, July 27th from 11am to 6pm.

See you out an about this wonderful summer weekend.  Your Friend in Real Estate Patrick Galesloot.
