The real estate industry is changing and we need some new people to come into it. I'm not talking about those people who have finished one career, have a nice indexed pension and want to do something part time. Maybe sell 2 or 3 houses a year. This industry is rapidly changing from something a past time associate can do.
No, I'm talking about younger people joining the industry. Career minded people who want the opportunity to work hard, operate as an independent contractor and perhaps make more money than they ever would with a more "traditional" career. We are beginning to see people with marketing degrees come into the business. They are tech savy, and understand marketing. Once they learn contracts and some negotiating skills, they are ready to go.
Beginning in real estate is exactly like starting any other business. It takes more than a 40 hour week to be successful, and it may take some time to get going, but for those who have a good work ethic, good people skills and are self-disciplined you can have a very rewarding career. It is very exciting helping your clients buy a home, often the biggest purchase of their lives. You need to be a professional, be knowledable and be prepared to answer all of your clients needs. That's your job.
These are the people who will be the REALTORS of tomorrow - along with some of the "old hands" who understand how the business is changing. Do you think you have what it takes to work very hard and, if you are good at what you do, make a significant amount of money? If you are even a bit interested, I would like to speak with you and show you how working with Century21 gives you a leg up on the competition.
