Catriona LeMay Doan speaks at C21 Annual Meeting
Last Wednesday the Atlantic Brokers and their sales associates gathered in Halifax for our annual meeting. As always Century 21 put on a great function with three very good guest speakers. However, the highlight for me was Catriona LeMay Doan, one of our very successful Olympic Speed Skaters. She is now retired and she spoke about her Olympic experiences and the value of goal setting and working towards that goal. She passed out her medals to circulate among the people there. What a tremendous person! She spoke to us like we had been friends for years and that she has just been away for awhile. she had lots of time after for pictures and autographs, etc. A real genuine treat to listen to.
We were very pleased that several of our staff, including myself, won individual awards and oour company won another Centurian Award. We had a very successful year in 2007 and 2008 has started out even better.
