This blog is mostly for fellow real estate professionals but does affect the public so please understand this when reading.
Although its not likely that we will all meet at any one function, I have had the pleasure of meeting a great deal of you over the years.
What I am hoping to acheive from this little blog post is to have EVERY real estate professional change the policy of offer dates.
Rather than burying the info about an offer date in the REMARKS FOR BROKERS section (which is not on Realtor.ca or any IDX site), please start putting those dates in the other 2 very public areas (either in REMARKS FOR CLIENTS or COMMENTS).
Sounds a bit trivial to some but believe me, this is a huge step in improving client-real estate professional relations.
And don't just think its for the public. I am happy to share listings with my clients that appeal to them on my IDX links etc but if there is an offer date on the Toronto MLS link and NOT on the public view....then I am the bad guy if they ask me about it and they didnt know about the offer date.
Let's get this done and now!!
