East York is perhaps one of the best examples of what the city can be. Great people, great shops and amazing landscapes.

As a resident and local real estate professional for close to a decade, I have been focused on providing the best level of service possible to a select group of clients. My database is made up of some of the best people I have worked with and also include some of the most down to earth local celebrities you could ever imagine.

The one thing that is missing from it is a unified way of connecting the neighbour on Woodmount Ave with the other neighbour on Pape Ave. Of course, the in person meeting remains at the top of the list but the social networking of this amazing area is going to make it even better.

Right now this group is in its infancy. One day, it may be THE place for all East Yorkers to communicate with each other and with me. Recently, I mentioned my opinion on the new building that is proposed for Woodbine and Danforth. If there is something that you want to spread the word about, let me know. Most topics are allowed but all are reviewed by me prior to adding them to the website.

Waiting to hear about a burglary two weeks after it happened is not helpful. What if they are targeting your area? I stumbled on a site called that allows people to add events as well as having police updates. Of course, none of these services are 100% accurate, but its a great way to get a snapshot of what is happening near you OR where you plan on moving.

This is NO longer just something that can be done by a simple phone call or a letter. Due to the tremendous changes going on with the new Energy Rating Act, evaluating a home is becoming more and more involved.
