Shrimp Warp Wonton Soup


50 g baby shrimps
150 g minced pork
2 tbsp water
1 tsp minced fresh ginger
1 tsp concentrared chicken stock
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp light soya sauce
Dash of white pepper
50 g chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp sesame oil
30 pcs wonton wrapper
500 ml chicken broth
500 ml water for boiling wonton


Mix everything except wrapper and broth in a bowl, with sesame oil last. Cover with cling wrap and put in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Put 1 tsp of minced pork mixture in wrapper. Wrap and seal.
Cook wonton in boiling water till cooked. Transfer to boiling broth and serve with bok choy if desired.


When boiling wonton, after water boils, add cold water, then reboil and add cold water again. This way we are sure that the pork in the wonton is fully cooked.
