I am just becoming re-acquainted with the charming ambience of Marina Bay Apartment Building.. The Super, Wayne, was extremely helpful yesterday in helping me get around the situation of buzzing folks in for the 14th floor which means I should be able to do an Open House with no problem. Today just being around the lobby area for my photos I am again struck by the friendliness of the neighbours as they travel to and fro, retrieving their mail or returning from their morning dog walks. I noticed too on the bulletin Board a "Welcome Spring" Social Event being organised for this Friday, one is left with the impression you are not just buying a home you are buying into a very pleasant lifestyle..
Everything is so nice and convenient for this building too. Close to small or major shopping areas, lots of nice places for casual or more formal dining and there is easy access to either the 417 Hwy, the Ottawa River Parkway for a smooth run to downtown Parliament area and also the access to the arterial Hunt Club Road which can traverse to the east and south of Ottawa and the Airport quite quickly these days. There are also excellent recreational facilities both in your own building and surrounding neighbourhood with parks, bicycle paths, Nepean and Britannia Sailing Clubs, beaches and walking and jogging paths. The apartment itself offers lovely views from the 14th floor overlooking the Ottawa River and Gatineau Hills from the Solarium. There is hardwood flooring in the main areas, a bright spacious versatile area for living room and dining room, a large master bedroom with ensuite bath and in-suite laundry. 5 Appliances included. The building facilities include squash courts,pool, sauna, library, exercise and party room, bicycle storage, locker and underground parking.
