National Canadian House Sales Down and Regina Tops in Canada
CREA (Canadian Real Estate Association) highlights from the attached video say:
- that at the end of 2010 the national sales numbers were down 14%,
- 2009 was the highest number of sales in the last 10 years and
-we are in a balanced market where approx. 55% of listings sell.

And in Regina:
- our house prices averaged a 10% increase per year in the last 10 years, while the national average was 6.8% per year,
- Regina's average price in 2010 was $258,000,
- the significant gains started in 2007 and continued,
- the majority of the last 10 years have been a sellers market.
